Facebook is used today for many things. Sometimes used to get in touch with family/friends, for a college student, if you don’t want to give out your number, and/or if you have a business. I myself have used Facebook for all three. Facebook and social media itself has evolved and became known for many different things. It was known for commenting on pictures, messaging others, and simply posting status on Facebook and liking them. Now it’s more focused on sharing videos and other content, sharing status’, and other stuff that it changed to.
How to deal with negative reviews on Facebook? If I were to have a Facebook page and it was to receive negative reviews on Facebook then I would turn off the comments, fight back with positivity, and delete or block the hateful comments. There is no other way to really continue to say it. The people of Facebook would have a problem with you know matter if you delete or block them off your page, you fight them back with positivity, or turn off the comments because that is how the world is. Someone always has something to say for any and everything.
Turning the comments off is first on the list. If you turn off the comments then you wouldn’t have to worry about anyone attacking your business page and or regular page. The comments are a big part of social media, and they can really affect anyone’s mental state easily. If you have a business page and you want it to look professional then it would be a good look to shut the comments off the page. It would also be a good look if friends and family are on your page and they’re speaking their opinion. I always say if you don’t have anything nice at all don’t say it, and if the comments are turned completely off then how are you supposed to say it.
You can also fight back the negative reviews or comments with encouraging words and positivity as any other great person would. Positivity goes a very long way when you’re in a crossroad in your life. Maybe the person that put a negative review can actually see it your way when you respond with a positive comment. Some people are looking for a reply on social media, and some aren’t. Some are looking to get things off their chest and some are just looking to be a troll. Your business may be great, but some may not care or maybe jealous; so replying back with a positive comment does the trick sometimes.
The last thing you can do is block mean and hateful comments. If you are receiving comments that are rude and hateful you also have that option. Sometimes hateful comments can really grind your gears, get up under your skin, or really irritate you, and if your getting negative opinion after negative opinion then it can really hurt your business or brand. They may have an option is to whether delete people off your posts or hide their comments on your post (like I mentioned above)but you can do both if the facebook privacy will let you. It depends if you are in a group or if you or on your private or public page. I would definitely try all options if I had a successful brand and I didn’t want to deal with negative reviews. I think it would be necessary to try these because everyone has an opinion online and on social media and its not gonna stop.
